Mu’meneen Brothers and Sisters,
As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah’s Peace, Mercy, and Blessings be upon all of you)
One of our brothers/sisters has asked:
To what extent is the use of “taweez” as well as amulets permitted in Islam. My mother recently gave me these Taweez. In Islam If I’m not mistaken there is a concept of”evil-eye” appears to be prevalent. It is possible for an individual to be under this “evil eye.” What I’m trying to find out is whether wearing such a “tawwez” is acceptable or not. Concerning the evil eye, I know that Allah protects me. But it was the Prophet(SAW) was in a state of trance. To break the spell , Prophet(SAW) used the Quran to remove the spell. Do you know of a method I could follow to avoid this fate. People who know my family may try to destroy my family using black magic. Can you please refer somehting from the Quran that can help me.
Please reply as soon as possible.
Answer:
Evil Eye black magic Amulet
As a tribute to Allah We thank Him Ask for His help and seek His forgiveness. Whoever Allah directs, none will be misled who He permits to wander off, no one can steer them to the right path. We have evidence that there is no one (no idol, nobody, no grave, no prophet No Imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we acknowledge we believe that Muhammad (saws) was His slave and servant and seal of His Messengers.
Your Question: To what extent is the use in the form of “taweez” as well as amulets permitted in Islam.
A Messenger from Allah (saws) strictly forbade the believers to wear any sort of taaweedh or amulet on any part of their body. Anyone who wears an amulet, taaweedh, or taaweed begins to seek his faith and support from this taaweedh instead of placing his complete life and trust into the Lord of all Worlds!
It is recommended to believe, worship, invoke and keep ones full and unconditional trust in none but Allah Subhanah The Lord of the Heavens and the earth and all that lies between!
If a person of faith, who has a firm belief in Allah and in Allah’s Last Day, seeks any protection for anything in existence, the only thing he has to do is take refuge in Allah and supplicate Him for every need. Because Allah Alone is the sole owner of all Strength and Power He is the only one who can ensure that no harm or any trouble will befall anyone without the consent from Allah Subhanah. Thus, a person who believes in Allah Subhanah must make a complete and total faith in Allah Subhanah Alone.
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 3 Surah Ale Imraan verse 160:
If Allah aids you, then no one will beat you. But if He abandons you, who will be there after that that can help you? In Allah then let believers place their trust.
Allah declares in the Holy Quran Chapter 33 Surah Ahzaab Verse 3:
and put your trust on Allah Alone. He is the only one who can guarantee your trust. is Allah as a Resolver of all things.
Allah affirms in the Holy Quran Chapter 9 Surah Taubah Verse 51:
Tell the world: “Nothing will happen to us, unless Allah has decided for us: He is our Protector” And on Allah trust the believers. their faith.
Uqbah ibn Amir tells us in his book that Messengers of Allah (saws) said: “If anyone wears an amulet (taaweedh) then may Allah not assist him in achieving his goal. If anyone wears a sea-shell around his neck and his neck, may Allah keep him from peace.”
Written by Ahmad and Al-Hakim.
An amulet (tamimah, taaweedkh, etc.) is an assortment of shells or beads that the Arabs put on their children’s necks, believing that it would shield them from the eye of evil. Islam totally abolished this and all other superstitious practices. Prophetic messages from Allah (saws) identified it as shirk in its most explicit form and invoked the curse of Allah on those who wore a taaweedh to seek its protection.
According to Ibn Mas’ud that once, when he entered his home, he noticed his wife with a knotted object around her neck. He removed it from her and broke it. He remarked: “The family of Abdullah has grown too arrogant to are a part of Allah the ones for whom He did not give any authority.’ I have witnessed that the messenger of Allah (saws) saying”Verily, incantations amulets, and love charms constitute acts to shirk (associating gods with Allah).’ The people said: ‘O Abu Abdullah! We’ve heard of incantations and amulets, but what exactly is a love charm? (altawlah )’?’ He replied: “It’s an esoteric formula that women used to gain the love of their husbands’.” (Related to Al-Hakim as well as Ibn Hibban).
Imran ibn Hasin tells us in his book that the Messenger of Allah (saws) saw an unidentified man with a necklace of copper around his wrist. The Prophet (saws) exclaimed to him: ‘Woe for you!’ What’s this? The man replied”I’m weak (al-wahinah).’ (Al-wahinah is a disease that causes pain in the shoulders as well as hands. Man was wearing copper bracelet as he believed it would alleviate his suffering and pain). The Prophet (saws) banned the wearer from wearing it since he regarded it as an amulet. It was said by the Prophet (saws) told him: “It does nothing but hurt. Throw it away. If you had died wearing it, you would not have been saved! (ie. you would have been dead in the grave of the shirk, the sin that is unforgivable.” (Narrated by Ahmad)
Isa ibn Hamza said: I visited Abdullah ibn Hakim and his face was red from high fever. I asked him: ‘Why don’t you utilize an amulet?’ He replied: “We seek refuge with Allah away from the evil. Allah (saws) the Messenger Allah (saws) said: “Whoever wears anything as an amulet will be entrusted with it”. (Narrated by Abu Daw’ud)
Your question is: In Islam If I’m right it is believed that the evil eye is a part of Islam. It is possible for an individual to be under this “evil eye.”
Sahih Muslim Hadith 5427 Narrated by Abdullah ibn Abbas
Allah’s Messenger (saws) stated that the influence of nazar (evil eye) is a proven fact. if anything would precede in the path of Qadr (destiny) it would be the effect of an evil eye.
Dear Brother, the influence of nazar is actually a reality as stated and confirmed by no other than The Messenger of Allah (saws) And Allah is our witness, every word uttered in the name of the Messenger of Allah (saws) can be nothing but the Truth.
However, it is important to know and believe with absolutely conviction it is true that the evil eye does not have any power on its own, nor can it cause harm or harm to anyone at all without the exact Will and Permission that Allah Subhanah has granted. So one should not worry about this evil eye but instead consider Allah their Lord and keep their faith and faith to Him Alone.

If all the evil-eyes in the world were to get together and try to harm one another, they would not even be able to do it without the permission of Allah Subhanah, for all Power and all Strength is in the hands of none other than the Lord Most High, Most Exalted.
Your Question: Can you please refer somehting in Quran which could be helpful to me.
Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 4563 Narrated By Abu Sa’id al-Khudri
Muhammad, Allah’s messenger (saws) used to seek shelter in Allah to protect himself from Jinn and evil gaze that men have until his Mu’awwidhatan (113th Surah Al-Falaq and 114th Surah An-Naas) were revealed, following which he made use of them and abandoned everything else.
Dear and dear Brother, should one be concerned about any harm from any quarter in any way, the sole remedy or dua needed is to recite the 113th Surah Al-Falaq or the 114th Surah An-Naas and thus seek the safety of Allah Subhanah from any evil approaching them It is believed that their Lord Most High will protect them from every danger.
After one has found refuge in Allah Subhanah they should keep their absolute trust and belief in the Strength and Power of their Lord Alone and they should not be afraid of any threat of harm coming from any magical, jinn, or evil eye, or other unobserved area! Allah Subhanah Alone is ones Protector and Helper.
If one is faithful, follows and follows the direction and directions given by Allah as well as His Messenger (saws) and His Messenger (saws), one is guaranteed of not getting misled. However, when one believes, abides by and follows any other guidance in addition to that from Allah as well as His Messenger (saws), one can be certain that they will be led off the track.
Whatever written of Truth and benefit can only be attributed to Allahs Guidance and Assistance, and whatever of error is solely my fault. Allah is the only one who knows best, and is the only Source of Strength.
Your brother and well wisher in Islam.
